This is an illustration of my character, Naori, for a “draw this in your style” challenge I wanted to host on Instagram. I did a dark and a light version! 

Some early ideation for the pose/concept. I wanted to show off her radiant flame magic in a unique way.

Here I drew what ended up being the final composition. Her dark outfit didn’t work with the rest of the piece being light, so I ended up changing it. When I hid the background, I found out that a “dark” version would look pretty cool, too!
